Indeed, this is the very book where the name, “Textus Receptus” came from.

A color copy of this original 1550 can’t be found for sale anywhere, at least not when I looked. And I can’t even find a place to download the color original anymore. I’m glad I saved the file. The Letters are CLEAR. Big Print. Any color facsimile of the original, if you can find it, is at least hundreds & hundreds of $$$.

I’m not saying this is the first received text to be published. Erasmus was before this guy. Right before him. This guy is said to be the one who coined that latin term seen in his 1550, “Textus Receptus”, “Received Text”. Not that his published Greek of many manuscripts into one represents the most perfect. No, no. But most are worse than it, especially in the years following. But this is opinion which even though we all have them, none have real conviction without study. So why even share conviction to those who’ve not studied? What does cheering for your favorite team accomplish?

I don’t sell this because I think it’s the best. I sell it because too many people claim that it is, & so I’d rather encourage all to study the topic, & with absolute surety, as you can study the photocopied original, & not have to fear about altering, which happens MORE THAN YOU KNOW. We just want to serve the people by giving you the pure sources. You make up your mind. But we will provide good fruit, & that, faithfully.
