Wisdom is old, and the educated are fools. Newer is worse, like how products & quality of service only get worse with time. Like the dirty rats trying to change the social norm from a 10% tip to a 30% one, and from something that’s a gift in thanks to ensure quality service to something that’s an entitlement tax. If you’re unsatisfied with what your employer pays you, work somewhere else bum! But you won’t, because you’ll make $400 in a night.

Who’s had the pleasant experience of seeing a 20% “Gratuity” charged ahead of time on their bill? I did, and guess what, I didn’t pay it. Here’s a tip for you, unless it says “service charge”, you never have to pay it and can dispute it with the credit beuro/bank and win every time. Just as every cop does to make you feel better about being screwed, “I lowered the max amount, here’s your ticket”, so too does the court tell you when you show up to pay or refute that ticket, “We’ve lowered the amount more for you, pay it, or else you risk paying the max and court fees if you lose the case”.

To which I said, “give me my public defender. God as my witness, I won’t admit to something I didn’t do”. I had to harass the public attorney to finally speak with my enemy, the servant of the court. Once he knew I was insane, the court dropped it, because they knew the cost will be greater than what they can make me pay. The court operates as a business.
