ON ORIGINALITY
To the Editor of the Weekly Magazine.
YOU seem very anxious for original pieces; but what do you mean by original? I confess I am at a loss to form an appropriate idea of this term. Let us try it. If you get a piece which has never been in print, then you suppoſe you have an original; but this will not quite do. It may be a miserable, dull piece; it may not have one original idea; and, if it has ever so many, they may be very bad ones.
We say of a man who acts very differently from every body else---He is quite an original; and the term is generally applied for some peculiar obliquity of conduct. I grant it is also used to denote a certain manner, and sometimes peculiar excellence. I call Anthony Benezet and John Howard, originals; but John Elwes and Rhynwick Williams were also originals.
As to originality in science, where are we to look for it? "There is nothing new under the Sun."
Who ever doubted the new discoveries of airs in chemistry, till an old book lately informed us, that they were known by Dr. Mayow above a century ago?
The balloons at least are new; but not to the person who has read Ovid's very circumstantial account of the flight of Daedalus and his unfortunate son, and who considers the Lapland practice of felling the wind, Bishop Wilkins's art of flying, and the aerial journeys of the witches on their broomsticks.
The invention of the compass has never been accurately dated. The Chinese claim it many thousand years ago; but the accurate Sinbad has, long since, in his voyages, given such an account of the wonderful property of the load-stone, that Europe, at least, must give up any title to it.
Columbus is supposed by the unlearned many to have been the firſt discoverer of America but read the account of Plato's Atlantis, and Martin Behem of Nuremberg, on this subject, and then judge who has the justest title to this important discovery.
Who was the original inventor of languages?---
I am sorry to deprive our country-man, Dr. Franklin, of his title to the original discovery of drawing lightning from the clouds, by his electrical kite; but any school-boy who has dabbled in the Classics, would ask me, if Prometheus was not long ago chained to a rock, to be the constant food of a vulture, for a sunilar attempt?
The discovery of gun-powder has been another bone of contention; and different nations have disputed the honour of finding out this happy mode of destroying our fellow creatures; but Milton has plainly told us that the credit of this glorious invention is solely due to Satan himself.
Printing has been attributed to so many different persons, that we are very much in the dark, whether it had one or several inventors.
Leaving the arts, let us look a little at different kinds of composition, What a want of originality is here! We have Pope's Homer, Dryden's Virgil, Francis's Horace, and ten thousand other works and ideas in modern languages, borrowed or stolen from the ancients, as we call them, who, most probably, got them in their turn from some of their predecessors. Even the great Milton's Paradise Lost is traced to an Italian tragedy. Of later times, much of the humour of the original Sterne is detected in Dr. Burton's Treatise on Melancholy; and Goldsmith's Edwin and Angelina has, within these few years, been discovered to be a translation of a French ballad.
But, to return to the object of this letter, which is, to endeavour to give you some assistance in your search after original pieces, and to point out what I believe a good-natured reader will be willing to accept for original; for, as to real originality, you must see I do not much believe in it.---
If you can procure any pieces which are subservient to the cause of religion and useful knowledge, (and nothing else is worth publication) get such as have not been in print, if possible; but give the second place to good translations , for theſe are original to a reader who can have but little chance of feeing them in any other way : then ſelect from the moſt approved new works whatever may be useful. Theſe are chiefly from Eu- rope ; but in our own country much may be procured from the varied publications which have been produced among us; and let me tell you, this country is much more likely to produce something original, than old worn-out Europe. Look carefully over the newspapers; they generally contain something new. And, lastly, be yourself an original, in admitting nothing which can offend the rigid eye of morality and decency.
It will be safest to leave politics entirely to the newspapers, and controverted points in divinity to the heavy volumes of the casuists. If you follow this advice, I will not only venture to pronounce you an Original, but also to foretel that your Weekly Magazine will live and flourish for many years.

Yes, the very same Charley Brown who wrote the Plandemic of 1803 article that we published here, and of whom’s books we sell; all of which are linked below. You’ll notice this author constantly hints at his knowledge of living through a great reset, just as many 1800’s authors of widespread interest, like Abraham Lincoln, Dostoevsky, and Twain, just to name a few. They express also the fact that nothing is new, and nothing has been invented, except history itself. Brown’s constant theme, not only in his books, but also his news articles, undeniably carry the implication that a genocide of European Americans happened in early America under the guise of a pestilential pandemic.

He constantly makes reference to William Penn’s Overseer’s of the Poor, a priesthood enshrined in the Colony’s records of law, who’s job it was to hunt down people who need help, even against their will, for such don’t know what’s best for them; people who might be idle, have no folks, have no oversight. In reading the (1670-1758) PA records, anyone can plainly see that I’ve made no speculation concerning this police force priesthood of the city assigning value to men’s lives no different than the Levites, for it’s all codified in their law in great detail.

Another detail: They had percentage incentives to profit by it, the same as salesmen, not only from extorting money from Americans to help the poor, but also in preying off these sought out poor who nobody’d miss. They had absolute authority to make slaves out of men and women, girls and boys, whether white or black; and not only that; but to kill them too. As Charley Brown points out, they assisted the cities in great numbers during the pandemics. Interestingly enough, while this Weekly Paper published a number of contributions by Charles Brockden Brown. Knowing Brown’s work, I find that above quoted information hard to believe, almost like a lie added to history to fit his theme, or to work against it; to paint him as if he ever took this yellow fever non-sense as anything else than none-sense. For I’ve found that: “His early reception was formally as a flawed novel writer, but recent scholarship reads the novelist through the lenses of an outspoken defender of gender equality and women’s rights, etc..” Bullocks! All one’ll find googling this great defender of Truth, is that he was some feminist leftist renegade. Ha! The opposite is true; for every woman character is either stupid, evil, or a smart rich jew spy woman plotting against the innocent. His focus, in all his work, was so obviously not anything of that sort or focus.

So then why are these sponsored academon sites spreading such a lie concerning him? It follows that if even half of what Brown said was True, as he sincerely testifies, then obviously there should today exist a government/intelligence sponsored campaign conspiracy to turn people off from ever even reading him; to mis-represent him; to claim him as their own entire. It’s that last part that I mention, to claim him, that makes their tactics ever more effective when said target they paint falsely has been long dead. In all his Newspapers, he always has a special section called Intelligence, Foreign Intelligence. He constantly uses the word intelligence in the secret agent way we know it as today, in all of his works. In fact, their isnt one of his books where many of the characters are not literally high level intelligence agents.

Brown concerning the death of James Otis, the morning star of the American Revolution, and also the man who just happened to be struck dead by Lightning right after the Revolution is won, in such a mysterious way with the few witnesses contradicting themselves and each other; Brown constantly hints at fowl play, making Otis a character in some form or another in his stories, 2nd only to Benjamin Franklin, who’s character in his stories always happens to be a surgeon and somebodies uncle. Always a man of science, medicine, and a double agent man of great wickedness. Now I’ve great respect for our forefathers, most of them, but not Ben Franklin.

He fled France after being charged with sodomizing underage boys. He was a murderous, double crossing, degenerate gay thief. After much study, I sincerely believe he murdered James Otis. Also, many may have heard, but for those who haven’t, his house in England… just a few years ago, the skeletons of countless people were found buried in his basement, including children. He did live in England for 18 years. Of course, excuses are made by the same press who mis-represents Brown, claiming that since it was illegal to dissect any bodies whatsoever of dead people, that he did it illegally, and thus to be safe, he buried them in his basement.

Firstly, he would be more at risk to get the dead bodies there, than he would be disposing of them.

Secondly, there’d be no need for such great secrecy on his part if it truly were for science, and none of those dead bodies were his victims, for he was a higher up anyways, and in the name of science, it was not illegal back then, assuming the person was already dead; though they tell us it was, it’s simply not true.

Lastly, BENJAMIN Juda would need the coroperation of so many people to catch a body just after it had died, that it’s perplexing to imagine, things being as open as they must needs be to begin with, that he’d choose to live with the dead corpses after experimentation, instead of dispose of them.
