A very rare 1st ed. 1867 Dante’s Divine Comedy, the entire set: Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradiso, all in a 690 page book. This is the “Literal Prose Translation”, the most literal rendering of the Latin to this day. There’s many misconceptions about Dante’s work that are only reconciled by reading for one’s self, and there is not a better english rendering of the Latin in my opinion, as well as other’s. Given this collectable’s limited availability and unique edition, this book would be a treasured piece for those interested in historical and literary works.
