This would explain his not very much caring for money in the same competitive spirit as Edison; thus looking at the whole in the proper light, it’s not that Edison took advantage of the ever naive & innocent Tesla, but that Tesla was doing his job, & that job was always secure, even to the point where all his needs were paid for til the day he died, regardless of his income. Somehow everyone inverts this into a meaning the opposite of what is apparent. As if he died having been done dirty by the greedy system, a poor man. It’s ridiculous & insulting to Tesla’s well known intelligence. There are few Americans who could’ve afforded to live in the apartment he died in at that time. And just as at the beginning, the end bares all the signs of fulfilled promises contracted between nations.
