That best source for Pythagorus, this is the Iamblichus (245-325AD), the best source, the only source. There’s no source that offers his unique insight into the world of Europes development from pagan to Christian. Iamblichus captures this in-between transition. The self-proclaimed pagans who have NO IDEA just how much their beliefs have changed, & are Christian in origin. We see that so much of the transition was not confrontational, but influential.

A source, not a 3rd and 4th hand Indiana Jones Story, people obviously interpreting past culture wrong, which is all academia. No. You can decide for yourself.

Like Paul, we should be willing to win by any means, to be all things to all men. Patience of this kind is an energy that comes from outside, like a passing wind.
