Original price was: $49.00.Current price is: $33.80.

“For a time, we in this quarter will be EXEMPT, but it will surely reach us at last. For the rich, the whole world is a safe asylum, but for us, indigent.. If the disease spare us, we must perish by neglect & famine. Alarm will be far & wide diffused. Fear will hinder those who supply the market, from entering the city. The price of food will become exorbitant. Our present source of subsistence, ignominious and scanty as it is, will be cut off. Traffic and labour of every kind will be at an end. We shall die, but not until we have witnessed and endured the horrors that surpass thy powers of conception”

Published in 1800 and written America’s first great name to literature, Charles Brockden Brown of Philadelphia, who’s roots don’t stop at the Penn, but perhaps William. Click our article at the bottom to find out more about hidden treasure of American Literature, the greatest influence on Edgar Allen Poe. Why even the miserable little girl lovin, Helen Keller promotin dirtbag, Mark Twain, was greatly influenced… no..  Twas the wrong word: STOLE much of Brockden’s approach & style.

Brockden only wrote a few books, and the entire time, was a Newspaper editor, first weekly, and then his own monthly paper. Filled with humor, & ongoing stories his Philadelphia papers were, from 1793-1806; His books being based on ongoing themes from said papers, exactly as Twat did, except Charley Brown actually had something to say, he wasn’t a miserable fool who defrauded even his readers. Brown doesn’t put on the show of mystery, but displays a sight worth seeing.

He’s constantly pointing out conspiracy theories of the Revolution & early America, all themes that twat rips off from him, except Brown isn’t a part of the conspiracies while looking down on everyone else as less than him as Twat did before he died alone & stupid.

From page 42 of this book:

“Arriving at the house of the bookseller, she perceived that the doors and windows were closed. Night not having arrived, she easily conjectured that someone died in the house. She’d always dealt with this man for books and paper, and twas treated with the upmost civility. Thus she felt immediate sympathy. To remove her doubts, she turned to a person who stood at the entrance of the next house, who held a cloth mask of steeped with vinegar over his face. In reply to her question, the stranger said–Mr. Watson do you mean? He is dead: He died last night to the yellow fever.

“The name of this disease what not absolutely new to her ears. She’s been apprized of its rapid and destructive progress in one quarter of the city (philli), but, hitherto, it had existed, with regard to her, chiefly, in the form of rumour. She noticed everyone masking their face on the way home to her father, whereupon she enquired of him. Mr. Dudley answered–If on any account I should trembler, it is on thine, my angelic girl. Thou dost not deserve thus early to perish: And yet if my love for the were rational, perhaps, I ought to wish it. An evil destiny will pursue thee to the close of thy life, be it never so long. I know ignorance and folly breed the phantoms by which themselves are peplexed and terrified, and that Whiston is a fool, but here the truth is too plain to be disguised. This malady is pestilential. Havock and despair will accompany its progress, which will be rapid. The tragedies of Marseilles and Messina will be re-acted on THIS STAGE.

“For a time, we in this quarter will be EXEMPT, but it will surely reach us at last, and then, whither shall we fly? For the rich, the whole world is a safe asylum, but for us, indigent and, what fate is reserved but to stay and perish? If the disease spare us, we must perish by neglect and famine. Alarm will be far and wide diffused.

Charles Brockden Brown is somthin like a prophet I say! (We’ve restored his earliest weekly papers nobody has published since. We’ll have em for sale soon, along with the newspapers the academics twat virtue signalers have published of him, but ours at a cheaper price of course; oh, and 75% of the book won’t be our introduction. We’ve more respect for posterity than to piss on it.)

1803 NEWSPAPER COMPLAINS OF PLANDEMIC

This book is 340 Pages btw, and we’ve made sales on the one work we’ve put for sale that isn’t this book already! History is truly exciting! The mystery is truly obtainable. Napoleon, why all he’d do is read the old books, constantly. The man saw the moving Spirit and followed it! And Mark Twat is a dope! A disgrace!

“I bought this facsimile copy of the 1522 Erasmus New Testament to put on the shelf next to my facsimile copies of Tyndale's New Testament editions. This facsimile is high quality and a great value for the money, especially for what you will pay for the Tyndale editions (one by Hendrickson is out of print and the other is a premium hardback edition not produced for the mass market). I've not found this particular edition of Erasmus' NT anywhere else. If you're considering this Bible, you are probably not a novice in Ancient Greek; but if you are, a word of caution that it's not suitable for casual study. Due to the archaic printing conventions, i.e. ligatures, and to a lesser extent the Latin introductory material, it will be years until it might turn into a readable copy for me. (If you do read Latin, the Roman font is very readable.) If you're like me, you will want to have one so that you can appreciate the rich history of Classical Greek printing, and the Bible specifically. Every time I open it, it's a step back into centuries of time past.”

“Erasmus Greek-Latin 1516 ‘DELUXE’ This is jewel of book!! Not only is rare, but, the craftsmanship is way beyond I’ve seen before. In my opinion, the only thing that needs it’s a hardcover, other than that I think Erasmus himself would be proud of it.”

“The type face is very small, and it looks as if this is a reproduction, but I received the book in good condition and it’s decent quality. The information is in there and that’s what’s most important.”
Reply: The type face is as big as in the pictures. Not "very small" at all. It's not "Giant Print". The Book is 8" x 5.5" as described. And a reproduction of what? That's an original production by Baum Books of all 4 volumes in one book. Yea, great condition & quality, as seen in the photos. Go pay $70 for the Harry Potter book if you don't like it. We'll accept your return, just pay for the shipping.
